Either way, 1 star because this is a poorly made device. I need this for use at work so I'm hoping there is a 5 GHz network there. I verified the frequency band interference by enabling my router's 5 GHz network and this problem no longer occurred at all. I'm certain this is the problem because if I connect to my 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network first, browse the internet, and then plug in this hub, my connection immediately falters. So basically, within 5 minutes of plugging this thing in I had discovered an extremely limiting flaw that I wish I had known about before purchasing it. After a quick Google search I discovered that poorly shielded USB 3.0 devices will interfere with the 2.4 GHz frequency.
