The strategy elements in the game have been done really well and at times you really do have to think what to do which makes winning very rewarding. Uno is one of the best card games for a reason. Long time players will still have fun with it, however, as it still offers plenty of depth and strategy that will keep. It’s super accessible for newcomers looking to get into the main Ascension game or card games in general (especially since only 20 gets you EVERYTHING you need to play).
