I do however like games that are free so of course I was prepared to give Eternal Card Game a go, and thankfully I’m glad I did. I’ve never been a huge fan of card games because they do get repetitive quite quickly and they do lack in terms of excitement in my opinion.
You have to pay for certain items and the price is way too high for some of these items. At times the game didn’t always feel as balanced as it should, and that did annoy me a bit at times. Forge Your Way Eternal combines the infinite possibilities of a deep strategy game with the pace and polish of a modern game. There’s a huge amount of grinding you have to do in order to progress at times unless you pay to progress. Every card and every game mode in Eternal can be earned without ever paying a dime. There are a number of different cards for you to collect and this not only gives the game some replay ability but it also makes it very addictive as well. In terms of content the game has a decent amount for you to be getting on with and if you’re a fan of card games you’ll no doubt be satisfied with the content. It’s easy to learn, easy to play, and the scars it leaves will be etched into your soul for the rest of time. The strategy elements in the game have been done really well and at times you really do have to think what to do which makes winning very rewarding. Uno is one of the best card games for a reason. Long time players will still have fun with it, however, as it still offers plenty of depth and strategy that will keep. It’s super accessible for newcomers looking to get into the main Ascension game or card games in general (especially since only 20 gets you EVERYTHING you need to play).
